I decided that i am going to try to do a post about each one of my family members to let them know how much i love them and how they have made my life what it is....So todays blog is dedicated to my wonderful daddy!
I love my dad so much we have been through quite a bit together and he hasnt always had the easiest life but he never talked down on how rough his life has been or done the pity me thing he has always tried his hardest to make sure my brother, sister and i were happy... My dad is just about 51 one but if you met him you would think he is still a teenanger he loves potty jokes loves to play pranks on people and has such dry humor but everything to him in life he can find the funny in it all. He was brought up in Rosepark with one sister and 2 awesome parents, his dad for example was a awesome man even though i never met him my dad has never said one bad word about him they always talk about how he has always tried to do new things so he could keep close to his kids... my grandma even told me that he picked up golf so him and my dad could do something together... He sadly later on in life became a quadraplegic (dont know how to spell that) so he lived for a few short years like this then he passed on when my dad was in his 20's as for his mom she is one of the toughest ladies i know she is 85 now and still gets around really good and lives completly on her own. Whlile my dad was serving his mission in Orgeon he found out he had Diabetes he was insulin dependant so he has always struggled with this he was always in and out of the hospital with the diabetic flu. He also married my mom in his late twenties and had three kids shortly after my sister was born my mom found out she had lung cancer and my dad was always at the hosipital he was there everyday and always was making sure we were taken care of then after almost a year of fighting the cancer my mom passed away leaving my dad with a 10yr old, 7 yr old and an 8month old baby this was really tough for him but he never showed it he was always so worried that someone would bring up my mom and we would get our feelings hurt or be sad about it so he was so protective over us since my little sister was so young my dad didnt want her to keep getting passed around while he was at work and my mom never wanted us in daycare so he had to do one of the toughest things in his life he let my aunt Cathie and her husband my dads sister take care of her so she know lives with them. Through all of these rough years my dad always tried to keep postive and make sure we have everything possible. I remember when i was in high school my dad would think it was so funny to fart in the car and lock me in there. he is such a character. I love him so much later on when i was about 10 he remarried and then right around 9/11 my dad lost his job and shortly after his kidneys failed and he needed a transplant this was very hard for me, brother and my sister to see this when we had already lost one parent we were terrifed this would happen again but luckily my dad got one pretty fast and also got a pancreas so he is no longer diabetic and hasnt had any complications. I Love my dad more than words could describe he is the best dad in the world. Even through the past rough times he has had i want him to kow i am always here for him and we will get through all of this. He always has my side and i will never doubt him, or look down on him for his choices everyone might not make the best choices all the time but he really tries hard and i will always be there for him through the thick and the thin! I Love you dad!!! Never forget it!!!
